The results are in, and for the second year in a row, Beverly Healthcare in north Asheville announces a deficiency-free survey.
According to the company, Beverly is the only skilled nursing center in the area to achieve such an accomplishment.
Beverly Executive Director Micky M. Vujanovic says that their staff’s “dedication to their residents is the most important factor in this achievement, and their hard work has shown for the second straight year.”
Beverly has undergone many changes in the last few years, being one of only two nursing homes in the state to win the AHCA Quality Award last year and back-to-back perfect surveys. Vujanovic says those achievements show how far the nursing center has come in their commitment to quality care for residents.
He went on to say that [this is part of] a culture change toward Resident Centered Care, a “person first” approach of transitioning the nursing center from a facility to a home.
