And we keep getting better—no doubt because we've been at it a long time. We began with a single nursing home in 1963 and have grown to become a leading provider of nursing home care in the United States.
Our growing network of nursing homes offers highly skilled nurses, as well as certified nursing assistants trained to provide round-the-clock medical care or supervision. And because so many of our residents are affected by some form of dementia, our Alzheimer's care staff can help families learn to live with Alzheimer's disease and its effects.
We offer physical, occupational and speech therapy—both inpatient and outpatient—by therapists experienced in eldercare and long-term care, to help our residents stay fit and enable them to return home as quickly as possible.
Assisted living may be the right choice if you need a little help with the day-to-day activities of living but don't need the medical care provided by a nursing home. In addition to furnishing our suites to feel like home, we offer services to help you retain your independence.
We also offer specialized services. Our resident centered care homes are designed to recognize individuality, ensure our residents’ right to make choices, and enhance each resident’s quality of life. And our Alzheimer’s program incorporates little touches of “home” into an environment of safety so the family doesn’t have to choose between safety and freedom.
