Girl Scout Troop 608 hopped over to the Wabasso Healthcare Center last Thursday for an evening of dyeing Easter eggs and making Easter bags.
A discussion was held on the everyday household items that can be used to dye eggs, which include beets, onion peels and tea. Prior to arriving at the WHCC, the girls painted sun-catchers and made a page for their scrapbooks during their monthly meeting.
The girls also joined the residents in February to make Valentines and will join them again in May to work on their physical fitness badges. They will work on passing and kicking techniques with the residents and finish their meeting with a nature walk around Wabasso.
Troop 608 leaders are Caroline Netzke and JoeLee Brau.
