ASHEVILLE — For the second year in a row, Beverly Healthcare recently earned a deficiency-free survey, the only skilled nursing center in the area to achieve that distinction.
Beverly [Healthcare] Asheville has undergone many changes in the last few years. Being one of only two nursing homes in the state to win the AHCA Quality Award last year—and back-to-back perfect surveys—shows how far it has come in its commitment to quality care for residents.
Recently, Beverly [Healthcare] Asheville began a culture change towards Resident Centered Care, a person-first approach of transitioning the nursing center from a facility to a home. It has transferred much of the decision making from management to residents, families, and direct-care staff.
