Beverly Healthcare Titusville recently completed an annual survey from the Pennsylvania Department of Health as part of the facility's required license renewal process.
The facility received excellent survey results following a three-day intense inspection from the four-member team of surveyors. The surveyors reviewed the facility's quality of care, required documentation, admissions process, food safety and nutrition, medication administration process, cleanliness, record keeping, general facility safety and resident quality of life, as well as compliance with all federal regulations for nursing homes.
Only one citation relating to an intervention to a resident's care plan was given to the facility. Beverly Healthcare's survey results were improved over the 2004 survey of nine citations, and were substantially better than the state average of six citations for skilled nursing homes across the state.
"Our annual survey results were outstanding," said Nila Bill, Beverly Healthcare Titusville's executive director, "and reflect the high quality of care and services that every member of our staff provides on a daily basis to our residents."
Bill cited the quality and dedication of the staff, and the facility's excellent team of physicians, as one key to the outstanding survey results. "We have a great team here,” Bill stated. "We are all so proud of this great accomplishment. We feel our results really show the excellence of care that we provide."
Beverly Healthcare Titusville provides quality healthcare for up to 77 residents, including those needing skilled nursing and rehabilitative care.
